Informational flyer                      Vouchers to print off and use

  • Barnes & Nobel Book Fair Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22nd from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. both days.  DBOB will receive up to 20% of the day's sales IF customers use one of our vouchers OR at least mention our group to the cashier.

Any questions?  Feel free to call Mrs. Linda Harrison at 653-7174

or email MomtoMitchell@aol.com

Students help greet customers, hand out coupons prior to the date,  play small ensembles to attract attention.  A% of profit purchased from individuals with our coupons will come to the Boosters.  It will be split among those who participated to go into the student accounts.  Here's how it will work:
  • Students who are willing to play, in 30 minutes increments, need to sign up for the spot.  Once they're all filled, those are the only students who will receive a portion of the proceeds.  SIGN-UPS NOW!  Time slots will be filled first come, first serve.
  • Email (MomtoMitchell@aol.com) or call Mrs. Linda Harrison 653-7174
  • Parents can participate by signing up to "man" the information table.  All you have to do is sit there and try to strike up a conversation with people passing by.  You then tell them that if they mention our group on checkout, that we'll benefit.  Parents who work the table will receive credit toward their student's account.
  • EVERYONE can hand out vouchers and/or print them off on their own.  If they do and customers forget them at home, they can just mention the boosters at checkout and Boosters still get credit.  Since there is no way to track which vouchers bring in profit, we cannot give credit to specific student accounts for vouchers handed out, however, the more handed out, the higher the amount will be available to split up amongst those who do work, so increase your own profit by handing out vouchers if you are working, or help your friends out if you are not working yourself.  We all want your friends to be able to travel with you!.

FUNDRAISER CHAIRS:
All Booster sponsored fundraisers must be approved by the membership.  This is usually accomplished at a booster meeting (see schedule) or if you are unable to make a meeting, contacting the Booster president and requesting the president to present the fundraising idea to the membership in your behalf.  You will need to fill out the fundraiser form found by following the link to your right. For each fundraiser, a fundraising form must be filled out prior to approval, and a report must be filed with the boosters documenting the event and reporting on the finances.  Comments regarding the logistics and logs kept are also helpful to future boosters running future events.  (Eg. How many of an item did we sell or have left over etc.  Problems that arose, solutions that worked well.)  Finance reports should coincide with treasurer's records.  NOTE:  ALL INCOME SHOULD BE COUNTED BY 2 (UNRELATED) ADULTS at each step of transfer. (This includes prior to taking it home after a fundraiser activity.)  Link to Fundraiser Form
