VGs RECEIPTS: TURN IN DATES:
VGs will donate 1 penny for every dollar spent to a nonprofit organization that collects the receipts. Band and Orchestra Boosters does collect VGs receipts. All that is needed is the bottom portion with the "Community Rewards Points" . You do not need to save the whole receipt. (It is recommended you do not turn in the portion with any part of your charge card number.)
Hahn & Middle School: Just drop receipts off with your instrcutor. Proceeds go to help the Instrumental Music Program; proceeds from the Hahn & Middle school will be used specifically to benefit the Hahn/Middle school level programs.
High School: There are 2 ways to turn in your receipts:
1. Drop them to Mr. Schuster if you wish the proceeds to go to the Instrumental Music Program to benefit the High School level Instrumental Program. Do not write the student's name on the envelop.
2. Proceeds can go to the student's account if the following occurs:
a. Use your own envelop or pick up a VGs collection envelope at a booster meeting or from your students band class treasurer.
b. For convenience it is requested that you turn in the bottom portion only and staple these together in bundles of 10. Please hand write on the top receipt the total points included in each bundle.
c. Track your points in the given area on the envelope. If you run out of room, you can write the points on the back of the envelope. TOTAL the points and clearly write on the envelope the name of the student account to which you wish the points to be applied. The Boosters will fill in the organization information so please leave this blank if it is not already there. (If envelopes are turned in that have not been totaled, they may not be applied to the student account.)
d. Be aware that your total may be verified by a booster prior to submission to VGs. The staff at VGs also will verify the submissions. If you have made a significant math error, you will be notified. Proceeds will be put toward the students account in the amount that VGs submits to the Boosters.
e. Be aware there is some processing time involved. Do not expect submitted VG receipts to show up on your student's account immediately. First, a volunteer must collect, verify, and tablulate (this is done in batches, not continuoulsy) and then VG's will take time to reimburse.
