Marching band season begins with a 1-day mini-camp held at Davison High School on June 15 for the students to get to know the show music and get to know their sections and discuss summer rehearsals. Immediately following will be Marching Band Round-up to officially sign up for Marching Band. Then there will be a 3 day pre-camp held at Davison High School July 28-30, 2021. 9:00 am - 3:00 pm with a lunch period from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Following is a week-long band camp at Camp Echo Grove located at 1101 Camp Rd. Leonard, MI. August 1 - 6th. The entire marching band is expected to participate in both pre-camp and band camp, during which the show is learned.
The 2021 Davison Marching Band camp cost will be $360 - this fee covers the cost of the show music, drill design, camp accommodations, staff to work with the students at camp, the official marching band tshirts that are part of their uniform, and pre-game meals. Please make the initial $180 payment by June 15th, 2021 with the final payment due July 1, 2021.

If your student requires special meal planning due to food allergies/sensitivities or because they are vegetarian, please go to the Camp Echo Grove website and fill out their Special Diet Request Form found here before the middle of June.
The Marching Band performs at all home football games, some competitions, and participates in the homecoming parade.
